Hello

Ankur

I am

Yadav

Art Director & Visual Designer

I’m a storyteller at heart, a dreaming wanderer, always searching for new ways to share the world as I see it—through design, photography, film, or words. My imagination never sits still; I’m constantly exploring new places, moments, and experiences that spark inspiration and shape the stories I tell.

My Story

I left my career in architecture to follow what truly excites me—graphic design and filmmaking. Since then, my journey has taken me through roles like Creative Head at Brandwidget, Senior Visualizer at Sociowash, and Art Director at Social Panga, Gurgaon. Today, as an Art Director at Glance (InMobi Group), I continue to explore, learn, and create with the same curiosity that started it all. Design, for me, isn’t just work—it’s personal, and I pour a part of myself into everything I create.

Filmmaking

For me, filmmaking is the most profound medium for emotional expression and connection. My work is driven by a commitment to strong storytelling—moving beyond mere cinematography to craft narratives that genuinely affect and resonate with the viewer. While many of my films are deeply personal, born from life events, I've successfully translated this passion into professional work, creating powerful video content for the corporate world. My focus is always on the narrative depth that turns a sequence of shots into a memorable experience.

Athens - A city of unexpected charm!

In October 2024, I embarked on a trip to Athens with a rather low expectation. I envisioned it as just another city, adorned with ancient ruins and monuments. However, as we spent three enchanting days exploring this vibrant metropolis, my heart was captured by its unique charm. The people of Athens exuded a warm and welcoming spirit, their laughter echoing through the streets. The food, a delightful fusion of Mediterranean flavors, tantalized my taste buds and left me craving more. And then there was the relaxed pace of life, a refreshing contrast to the hurried pace of modern life. It was in this harmonious blend of people, food, and atmosphere that I found my love for Athens. Today, it stands as one of my favorite cities in the world, a testament to its enduring appeal and the magic that can happen when you least expect it.
Hey Papa!

Hey Papa!

I lost my father exactly a year ago. And it has changed my life forever. This has been the most difficult movie I have ever made. You see when you create a film about your life, you have to teleport yourself into that time when all that happened. I would begin working on it and 10 minutes later, I would be in a pool of tears. The day I lost him, I never really cried out loud in the open. I held on to those tears. But, creating this movie helped me grieve, enabled me to take out all the thoughts that had been drowning me. I hope he is in a much better place now.

Coron | Discovering Philippines

Coron was one of the most beautiful places on our trip. The time we spent here was what made the experience come out alive. it was hard to say goodbye to this place. Of all the places we visited, we had spent the maximum amount of our time here. It was hard to capture the beauty of this place through camera or even through my storytelling. But I tried.

Took my Mom to the beach!

Ever since I started travelling, I had this fantasy of getting my parents to travel with me. But it never really happened and then I lost my father. I had given up on my dream until my wife insisted to take my mom to the beach. A long forgotten fantasy, finally came to life. It's the best thing she has ever done for me!
